Lack of staff can sometimes mean things take a long time to complete. The amount of paper work required to do a test that then a technician does for you anyway makes it feel like you are still at school. Opposed to a trusted adult who can perform testing independently.

It has been a great experience with meeting lots of interesting people, the best advice I can give to you is to be yourself, honestly, and have lots of confidence, don't be afraid to make friends, ask questions etc... Join in everything you can, accommodation is good too, but some areas do need updating.
