Campus is huge, has everything you need, facilities are better the newer they are, which is a widespread thing but there are a few old oddballs in buildings that don’t look as good or function as well, but still good nonetheless. Recreational faculties are great but also expensive (sports centre and gym memberships especially). I’d imagine most of these issues would be sorted anyways since construction is always going on in campus. The library is amazing, there’s a literal tree in the middle, plenty of desk space and an insane range of books, as well as and glass booths for group study as well as sort of cubicled cushiony seats (I made up some words I know) that are a little too comfortable for studying in (cause they’re for leisure reading so unless you want to sleep don’t go there).
Overall nearly every part of the uni is well built, modern, good looking and huge. Lectures vary in quality but most are good and easy to understand.
The only thing I have to complain about is the weather, and lectures not expanding on what’s already on the slides. Other than that, it’s a great university.

I have everything I need at my disposal. Journals and databases are easily accessed through the OneSearch portal, videos and readings are well organised in Moodle, lecture hours are fine, workshops and seminars are enjoyable and interactive as well as co-operative.
My only gripe is this one old lecture hall called George Fox. Not the best place, fold down stools and crammed seat arrangement can be annoying. Also when lecturers do not offer more than what is already on the slides, makes the lecture a little pointless.
The minor module aspect of the course is the best one. My major is Marketing but because of my minors I’m learning things on Entrepreneurship, designing things on Adobe software and using Premiere Pro to edit videos for assignments. It’s the perfect blend of the theoretical and practical Marketing I want to learn about, as well as the other creative and business fields I’m interested in.

Overall Lancaster is a brilliant uni which offers a lot of support for students. The events that are held by LUSU but particularly individual college JCR's are extensive and a great way to meet new people and settle in.
Facilities
How good are your university's facilities?
Uni facilities are brilliant, with each college offering a bar. There are shops on campus such as Spar and the LUSU shop which is helpful for buying food, but these shops aren't necessarily the cheapest.
Student support
How good is the support offered by the uni? Think both academic (tutors/feedback) and personal (counselling, etc).
There are porters for each college so if you have any issues it's easy to get into contact with someone who can help. There is also the hub which help with any issues that students have.

The student's union is great with organising events.
