Great spot

Best is the opportunity worst is some of the lecturers aren’t engaging

Easy to get to but schluded beautiful campus not far from Brighton or the beach. Lots of societies and events throughout the year to get involved in. Great access to all resources, both digital and physical with all staff willing to help. Worst part has been the difference is tutor quality, some, particularly those with current expirence, share this and can explain and engage in a great way. Some staff, particularly those researching, sometimes do not bring the same enthusiasm which makes it hard to engage.

All teaching held in person. Access to recordings and copies of lecture. Text book available both in the library and online. Access to computers, laptops to borrow and even financial service lab. Tutors are generally willing to stay behind and talk if not off to another lecture and all have office hours to go talk content over.

WiFi could be in and our, only one problem with water/heating while I stayed. Kitchens are cleaned down once a week, and bathrooms wiped out once a month. Room felt in good condition as well as the kitchen with no appliance problems, was right at the back of campus so rarely had too many people wandering about and was generally quite quiet. Despite this was next to its own bar and was no more than 5/10 minutes to the centre of campus. All bills and WiFi included, which is always a bonus. Had a reception open during office hours - which a site office to access out of ours on the centre of campus. 24/7 security with help points and a dedicated number made it feel a safe area.
