Layout of the blocks and lecture/seminar rooms make it easy to find where I need to be. The outer building and interior appear clean and well kept making it a more positive experience when entering the establishment. Great sitting and waiting areas to use in between lectures and seminars on campus. University campus located under 30 minute walk from accommodation but with lectures and seminars in the early morning and afternoon it is a bother at times as I’ll have to decide whether to spend the whole time on campus in the day or walk back quickly to then leave again not long after.

Seminar tutors sometimes will go too far ahead during questions for one or two students whilst the majority are still behind and makes it difficult to keep up and fully understand the problems and solutions. Easily accessible sources for my courses, organised and dated to better prepare for assessments. Some lectures and seminars aren’t stretched out best for the week in my opinion, for example I have a 2 hour lecture on one subject to then go straight into a 2 hour seminar on the same subject and the exact same topic within it, demotivates to learn and effects how engaged I am within both.

Best party of my uni experience is meeting inspirational lectures in the accounting field helping me shape my own career path. By listening to their experience it’s helped me realise the accountant I want to be. Cardiff met is such a great place to learn it’s in the heart of my community and has such a diverse student alumni. I have met life friends from South Africa to India, which has made my experience more interesting. I love the quiet spaces around the uni where I can come to do my work in a safe environment. Only improvement I would say is more interactive information pods.

The lectures have been amazing they have made sure all content is covered with revision time available. The blended online/ on campus last year ran very smoothly and was helpful to have recordings in self study. Lectures have helped us integrate as a group too so we know have study groups and WhatsApp groups with peers.

Cardiff is full of diversity and culture which is very open to all. Accounting/ finance opportunities are leading due to us having large corporations in the city. Public transport is also really clean and often.
