Couldn’t be happier to have picked SRUC for veterinary nursing! It’s very practical based and really hands on which I love a lot. The lecturers are lovely and in our online (for now) lectures they make sure to try and keep us engaged and give us breaks as they know online learning can be a bit difficult and most of all they try to make it fun! If you’re looking to do veterinary nursing in Scotland I’d definitely recommend SRUC - you might be a bit hesitant at first since it’s out in the countryside and not a city but it’s definitely worth it for the practical learning than you receive on farm etc.

UHI is a fantastic university for distance learning courses. The support that they provide is assuring, teachers are helpful and knowledgeable, and the intended learning outcomes are very clearly outlined from the very start.
