I think the uni could do with better scheduling of classes otherwise all good

Best aspects: life outside of academics is great. The location is perfect. The city is average sized so everywhere is walkable but might be a bit small for people from larger cities. Student life is great, particularly if you are into sports. Netball team is a bit cliquey and not very welcoming but the IMG league is welcoming for all and interesting. The student union is great, they always have events on and they have YOLO on a Wednesday night which is always legendary.

The course isn't great. It is most research heavy, not much focus on the practical side of computing. Academically, wouldn't recommend coming here. The teaching is pretty poor, most of the lecturers are here to do the research, they don't care for teaching which is pretty upsetting when you're paying 9 grand a year. My course has been a rollercoaster, but just happy to make it to the end really.

Uni halls is really FAR from campus, lucky there was a pandemic so we didn't have to go in person as much but it was still far from town. The rooms were much bigger than most other accommodations. The halls were decent overall but my ensuite room had bad showers.
