The campus help and availability is amazing. It seems as though everybody is willing to help you out on any needs you have. Student life is fun and there is rarely a dull moment as you can always find something to do. The only issue is since it is a city campus, I have to do a lot of walking since my classes are in the city centre, but all other activities are near the main campus and students union. The campuses physical and athletic support could be improved however. As facilities are minimal and there’s minimal space for physical training and recovery for top teams and athletes outside of practices which other universities fulfill. Overall, Cardiff is a wonderful place to study and the nightlife is simply amazing. No matter what type of person you are you can find something right for you at Cardiff.

Content in first year is interesting, but lacks practical learning and teaches theory over the skills needed to work in industries. Lecturers are mostly amazing, and I have only been a part of a few lectures where I felt that time was passing slowly. Especially for my politics modules the course content seems to be elevated by the lecturers who genuinely seem interested in what they are talking about. Tutors reply fast and are always available and the facilities, especially JOMEC is top tier.

The support is unmatched. If you need help, the lecturers will provide it. The community is so friendly and I have never regretted coming to Cardiff. The student life is fun and the university actively encourages a healthy work(study)/life balance. The only thing I could suggest improving is the learning platform Learning Central as it can be hard to navigate. Some documents can be lost within the different pages so it can be quite confusing.

The course is fun and engaging and offers many different avenues and niches to choose to study. The lecturers are very supportive with any help needed. An area for improvement could be the course’s emphasis on work experience/internships. There isn’t enough emphasis to take part in work experience, and I find the course doesn’t advertise ways to get involved in extra-curricular activities related to the subject.
