Great facilities, however parking for students on and around campus is not great

Great mix of lectures, tutorials and seminars, it’s nice to have a mix of some workshops

Close to Uni Facilities quite old and very basic didn’t accomodate to my needs - asked to live with welsh people but didn’t although there was other welsh speakers living in halls

The campus at Cardiff Met has a modern-feel. The lecturers are all nice and supportive and there are contact for wellbeing, academic support, finance, careers if you were to need it. Access to a free-gym for all students is also a bonus of the campus. I think Cardiff Met would benefit from having more of a student union presence on the llandaff campus as this is all based at cyncoed which is quite far to travel to. The campus would also benefit from a small shop for essentials that students may need. The campus is about a 45 minute walk from the city centre. Llandaff is nice, quiet and safe area but it doesn't really feel like there is that much going on for students. Some lectures are really nice, inspiring and helpful. However, for a couple of modules lecturers have provided insufficient support and poor assignment feedback. The food on campus is really nice especially the hot food and salads. However, I feel this good be made more cost effective for students on budgets.

I have two days a week contact time on my course which I think works ok since it is a masters degree where independent study is to be expected. Some lecturers are very passionate, interested and invested in students success. Whereas others have put in minimal effort into lectures and given poor support and assignment feedback. The course content is very interesting and careers advice offered is very good. We have classrooms dedicated to our lectures which are appropriate for the number of students in the class.

I think the halls are in a very safe location. I have stayed in halls as undergraduate student too and these seem quieter and more peaceful. I like my room and having an ensuite and a mini fridge. I think the cost is appropriate. I have never had an issue with wifi. Maintenance and cleaners are all very friendly and fix any issues you may have. The reception team and management are very friendly and good at sorting out any issues you may have too. 24 hour security is very reassuring too. The halls offer various events like movie nights, competitions, bingo e.t.c too
