My overall uni experience has been great, I have loved every minute of it and wouldn’t think twice of changing university or course. From the moment I got my university offer the uni proved themselves of my place other than other “local” universities

Integrated qualifications into our course to give us the upper hand with jobs once granduating. These qualifications can also be used in part time jobs along side our degree to help with funding. We also have many links with employers for placement opportunities which can be taken in the second and third year.

I love all the scientific and biological aspects of the course however the module that’s used to teach referencing and other skills seems pointless in the second year. This time could be put to better use

I don’t use the students union just because I’m a student that lives at home so commuting and getting home after a night out is difficult. However I know many others who love the SU

Plenty of facilities from parking, food, accommodation, library’s with everything you could possibly need. I can’t think of any facilities that are missing

My campus isn’t based in a city however isn’t far from Cardiff and night life, tourism and shopping etc never disappoints

There are many sports clubs based on my campus due to having our sports park however I’m not entirely sure on the societies that are available as it’s not really my thing.

Lecturer feedback is always in a great amount of detail and are always willing to help you improve. I haven’t used the facilities myself but I know the counselling and academic support in relation to learning disabilities are amazing.

Great. Great university, great facilities, good support, about 80% up-to-date overall in my opinion. Still adding to things as years have passed whilst being here. Personal life good, overall both academic and personal life from uni has been good.

They offer work experience placements/conferences, opportunities fairs and part time work fairs to name a few. There is also an online portal for jobs advertised on specifically on unilife.

I like how approachable lecturers are, how there is lecture and online directed content to learn from, how meetings can be set up with lecturers to discuss things 1-1. Things that aren't so great are things like response time (which I know can't be helped due to the amount of students each lecturer has to deal with), some of the computer software only available to specific pc's/laptops.

I know about the students union shop, and the pub on campus, other than that I'm not sure.

Excellent. Shops, pubs, cafés, hairdressers, computer labs, libraries, even little things like vending machines for when everything is closed. Would be nice to have one of those vending machines that has sandwiches and stuff in it though!

Not a lot of city life, only because we're in countryside way of Wales and Cardiff is the closest city, which is a cool city anyway. Most of my time and the facilities and personal time is spent on campus.

There are a wide variety of clubs and societies, so for that I can't fault it! I just choose not to partake in them.

Great support from lecturers, guest speaking and lecturers I find not so much useful, cool to hear their story but doesn't really offer any support for assignments/exams or relevant learning. Have seen lots of other support from counselling, librarians etc around but again have not chosen to use any of these.
