Being able to study and improve myself in a way that I can manage is amazing. Everyone I have come into contact with has been very helpful. Although it is distance learning it is still extremely social and there is no pressure to participate in anything you don't want to. In terms of learning having everything accessible for solo learning but also having those extra resources like tutorials, forums and screencasts also available makes for a varied learning experience suitable for different learning types.

So far everything has been great year 1 is a very good stepping stone to make sure your education is up to scratch for year 2 which is fundamental to me as I have a lack of previous education. Knowing I have this year to learn the material I need and learn how to answer marked questions is very helpful and makes the experiencing a little less overwhelming than I imagined. The tutorials and interactions with tutors have been pleasant and educational. I have received reasonably timed responses.

So far so good. I hope that the next years will be good as the past ones. Obviously they can improve under many aspects, such as the easy of surfing their website, that to be honest results quite confusing in some parts. They can also try to keep even more uptdate the material especially in a subject costantly evolving like Computer Science.

So far I have had no bad experiences. When I asked for help or support they always answered sometime in few hours, sometimes in few days. They also migrated all my credits from Diploma of Higher Education in Computing and IT (W36) to BSc (Honours) Cyber Security (R60) in few days and without any complications.

I have started to study at the OU for a Diploma of Higher Education in Computing and IT (W36). I achieved the Certificate of Higher Education in Computing and IT, corresponding to the first year, with no problems at all. The modules were not so difficult, and I also got the Comptia A+ certification while I was studying at the OU. I really appreciate the materials they send you for every module, at least during the first year. During the second you will not get paper books for every module, but honestly we are talking about a bachelor in cybersecurity, so study all online hands on make sense.
