Best - Loads of societies to get involved in and great student unions. Worst - Everything is graded on a 22-point scale which makes the grade boundaries (A,B,C,etc) higher than most other universities)

How well you get on depends on the lecturer. The content is always interesting but sometimes delivered in a confusing way. Many optional supervision sessions and opportunities to meet with a personal advisor of studies.

All the UofG accommodations are on the expensive side: it is worth going for the "nicer" ones with ensuites/better location etc.

Glasgow is a great university for getting creative and working hard in a good atmosphere and ambience. You should be prepared for being far away from major cities and also a bit far from your family whom you will meet in your holidays. Don't come expecting a big night life, come for the uni.
