I have loved it. It was worrying how it would work but Portsmouth has made it work and better than my expectations could have imagined. As I mentioned previous, the lecturers have adapted their teaching to suit all learning and learning abilities and offered support in all areas. They really are experts in their field of work and I am so proud to be a part of the nursing cohort at the University of Portsmouth.

The simulation facilities are absolutely amazing! Real hospital settings and the technology is truly remarkable. It’s such a safe space to learn and the lecturers make it fun and are so knowledgeable in their fields.

They encourage you in all areas to seek support and everyone has been so helpful friendly and supportive from day one. You are not alone and it’s ok to not to be ok. We have all struggled one way or another and Portsmouth are just so supportive throughout your journey

I started my degree in the middle of the pandemic. The lecturers have been fantastic in the way of support and adapting their teaching online to suit all learners and learning styles. I feel very proud and fortunate and am so glad I made the right decision.

The carers service is amazing too. I’m not there yet to seek a position but the activities and guidance support you receive is really great. They want you to do well
