Absolutely fantastic place to study. Lovely friendly staff that are always on hand to help if you have any problems. Staff are more than qualified to teach lessons. Staff are great if you need any one to one help. I feel safe whilst I’m studying both in and around campus overall would highly recommend to any student thinking about attending the University Center at Blackburn College. I have nearly finished my degree in Law and I’m hoping to go on to study a Masters In Law here as well.

I find that the facilities at the university Center is good. I would suggest a few more computers in the library and maybe a few more up to date books

My overall college experience has been quite enjoyable. This is because, the staff are friendly, proffessional and understanding to any needs that you may have.
The facilities within the college campus are good as you can use all of the buildings facilities and not just the universities.
Facilities
How good are your college's facilities?
The facilities at blackburn college are overall quite good. There is ample rooms for you to do individual or group studying as they have a conference room that can be booked to do group work. They also have a quiet study area upstairs in the library and a silent study room as well.
However the computers in the library are quite old which makes them run slower than you would like and some of the books in the library could do with being updated to newer versions or add more than one copy of a book.
Student support

The support that is given to you from tutors is very good. They always take the time to make sure that you understand what you need to do and if you dont they are always there to answer any questions that you may have.
There is also the support from the students union that is located in the curve in the cafe area. Also within the college campus there is many health and wellbeing counsellors that are there to support you for any mental health issues that you may be having.
