The student services are very helpful such as the careers team and wellbeing teams. The organisation of timetabling can be improved since the timetables at the beginning of the semester were all over the place and kept changing.

The teaching is good most of the time. There are some lecturers that may be quiet or they can’t explain well enough as they keep contradicting themselves. I believe they could help more with finding placements a little more. Though, they do send out a lot of emails regarding career opportunities that includes talks, enterprise, work experience and training contracts.

The common room and study room on -1 are quite small and dingy. The courtyard is cute but when people are there late at night, the noise they make echoes up to all the flats that face the courtyard which used to disturb my sleep. The fire alarm would go off a lot but it would be 3 times in a week sometimes. It is relatively safe, unlike Lakeside or Bagot Street. The WiFi was usually good but sometimes it can be laggy. The shower facilities were good, the water was hot but low pressure (sometimes too hot). The walls could be quite thin at times. The location is really good since there is easy access to town and both universities, Aston and BCU.

Birmingham wasn't my first choice but now I am here, oh wow it is amazing, the lecturers are very supportive and so are students, amazing experience
