My university experience was on the the best experiences of my life. I always had a passion for studying languages and the university provided me with the skills, knowledge and confidence to use these skills in the real-life world. The tutors and lecturers are very passionate about their subjects and are always so enthusiastic and determined in ensuring you succeed, both from an academic and personal point of view. The university is in the perfect location and allows me to commute from home whilst also taking advantage of the city life with my friends.

The University of Strathclyde hosts a variety of high standard facilities including a multi-storey library, sports centre, students union and various cafes and dining areas.

From an academic point of view, I always receive positive, motivating and constructive feedback on all of the assignments I submit to my tutors. They are extremely helpful and are always willing to arrange one-on-one time with students if they require extra support or guidance with an aspect of their studies. From a personal point of view, I also believe that the disability service do a fantastic job in supporting students through their studies. Due to a hearing impairment, I recently visited the disability services who went above and beyond to ensure they did everything to assist my university experience. They spoke to my relevant tutors who ensured that my speaking and listening exams were suitably adapted to meet my needs and that I could achieve my maximum potential. Their assistance and support greatly developed my confidence during my exams and overall success at university.

As an undergraduate student, I feel that my thoughts and opinions are voiced and acted upon. The university representatives are democratically elected by the students themselves and they are always encouraging students to provide them with advice and feedback on how to make the most of their university experience.

The University of Strathclyde is in the perfect location - situated in the heart of the city centre with endless cafes, restaurants and shops and also in walking distance of train and bus links.

The University of Strathclyde had recently opened a brand new sports centre with a varied and well equipped gym, exercise classes and swimming pool. There is also a large variety of societies and clubs for a range of interests and hobbies such from chess to cheerleading.

As a modern languages student, I enjoy the variety of lectures, tutorials and activity based oral classes. The French and Spanish department always strive to make their teaching innovative, interesting and informative and most importantly, ensuring that the students enjoy the course. By providing students with a selection of days and times to attend their tutorials, this allows students to effectively manage their personal timetable alongside their studies. Whilst our classes are often in the same building, it can often be challenging walking from one class to another building on the another part of the campus with only a five minute break in-between

The University of Strathclyde offers a wide variety of courses which provide students with the transferable skills, knowledge and confidence to pursue a career after graduation. Having recently taken advantage of the university’s careers service, the university also provides information on various job and postgraduate study prospects, whilst providing you with the support and guidance for the application and interview process.

Glasgow's a home away from home for me now- met loads of great people to get involved in lots of uni things.

Better in some buildings than others- library is too small.

Really really good! Always understanding of everyone's situations.

Fairly good and it'll get even more better once they move.

Always things to do for students.

Loads and loads of clubs and societies.

French department is amazing but Spanish is not! They need better skills to explain things.
