University of Gloucestershire is a wonderful small university, where all the students are connected whether that be through studies, societies or anything else in between. The university always tries to promote and spread out their message of what they have to offer via emails and posters scattered around the campus, regarding jobs, events, career events etc.

Having a blended learning outlook when it comes to learning is very useful, because it allows students to still have that university experience of going onto campus and using the facilities provided, plus working from home if needed. However, teaching online may not always be useful, as concentration can be lost after a few hours, which can I’d say is the main down fall of online learning, yet having a balance of both is great 😊 .

There are plenty of rooms and resources to aid studying. The university has plenty of support staff for any sort of issue outside of your course. The campuses are beautiful and a good distance from the town.

Some lectures and how they're taught need to be revised as commonly they stretch to three hours unnecessarily or they stop early because there is nothing else to cover. Have more shorter lectures could mean having a content lecture at the start of the week, a lecture to work on tasks to reinforce that lectures content, then another lecture to apply that into assignment work with the lecturer on hand to answer any questions. There is a problem with security on the network where users can't do basic tasks required of their course which means often you can't go through an exercise with a lecturer because it doesn't work on any of the university machines.

Challinor is well positioned for walking or biking in to town with a covered bike rack right outside, it's also very close to reception. Maintenance is good at getting things fixed once a request has been made. The internet has an ad blocker and filter on it meaning some websites don't work if they block you for having an add blocker and if the site isn't http it'll block it whatever it is.
