I am currently enjoying my Open University experience. I initially joined Open University to enjoy the prospects of distance learning. Since I am working full time, I felt this was the best option. I also wouldn't have to worry about commuting. As it turned out, this year a lot of students have resorted to remote learning. Due to the unprecedented times and the online nature of this course, I feel as if my studies haven't been drastically interrupted ot altered. Any changes have been clearly outlined and highlighted by the organisation and its educators. Tutorials are self explanatory and sufficient, though they can at times be unengaging for me. My tutor has always responded to my emails quickly and has been helpful on the University forum as well. All in all, my current experience has been a good one, especially considering the situation in the world. I am happy where I'm at.

Everything is online. All tutorials are online now as well due to Covid. Online facilities are sufficient and enable me to get in touch with the necessary people.

Open University has services available for anyone who feels the need for mental health support.

The course is online so a lot of it involves reading and self teaching. Of course tutors are always available as well as other students on forums. My tutor has always responded to my emails quickly and efficiently.

I haven't used this service as of yet.

My overall experience has been amazing. I really do feel my skills set is being used to it’s advantage. I have been able to finally learn more from a online university that offers distance learning in comparison to a brick uni. Open uni had given me the chance to not just build my confidence in my studies but in my job as well.

As everything is online , there are many facilities online and services to contact for support if required. For instance student support services for assignments and course enrolment.

I have constantly been offered support when required more academically as I tend to need support this area.

My course is taught online. The university normally provide tutorials and online resources throughout the year. This enables students to manage their independent study while working if you are a part time student.

The university has continued offer and advertise opportunities students can have with employment after completing the course.
