As an international student, the university has provided so much support in helping me settle in. We were given the opportunity to get to know coursemates during induction week and I made fast friends there which really helped me feel comfortable during those first few weeks of being new to the area. I'm not the type to go out partying so some student events don't really apply to me, but overall uni life in Portsmouth has been quite exciting and enjoyable. The Global team organising coach trips to explore nearby areas in the UK is a huge plus as well.

I love that lectures and the majority of reading are available online. The seminars are mostly well conducted, being interactive and allowing us to reinforce the content covered in the pre-recorded lectures and pre-reading. Though I felt the content of some courses weren't structured as well as I would have liked, there was no major flaw that seriously impacted my learning experience. The course leader/lecturers/tutors were all really friendly and approachable as well. We were provided with quite a lot of support regarding general academic skills, the required legal skills in our course, and also on career prospects - starting us off early on what to expect, what we could consider, and preparing us on what we can work on while still studying.
