The university has a focus on sustainability which I think is really good, especially considering how much plastic waste can come out of a simple lab experiment. The timetable system isn't the best, whenever there is a change we aren't notified... and sometimes lecturers aren't either which isn't the best, but other than that its great.

The labs are amazing, There is so much equipment and the TV screens make it easier to follow the lecturer/ lab leader. The paperless lab system isn't amazing but thats because the laptops are now quite old and therefore work slow or sometimes just don't.

Everything is nearby (facilities, shops, university buildings) Lecturers are great at answering in person but not always on it with email responses, however usually within a 5 days max

Facilities are great, there is a superlab which has a wide variety of equipment, and a crime science house for the forensic aspect of the course which is great for practicals

It is near the heart of England, a 10minute train journey to Birmingham. As well as being equal distances to Manchester and London, so everywhere is easily accessible.

Maintenance of both are great, good location near the university, great sized rooms and kitchens (also inclusive of an ensuite)
