Engineering Technology foundation degrees in East Midlands

The uni itself is beautiful and right in the city centre, there is lots to do around Nottingham and it is relatively cheap compared to other areas. Lively food scene and nightlife, and there are lots of parks and other activities in or near the city centre. Support from my tutor and course leaders has been perfect, my one complaint would be the lack of support regarding mental health. My tutor and course leaders have been extremely accommodating and attentive to the needs of disabled or mentally ill students, and counselling is available within the student union, however it is limited to 6 sessions and has a very long waitlist, taking (in my experience) 6 months to get an initial assessment. However, I have made so many friends and received support from both them, and the staff on my course. Would absolutely recommend NTU!

The campus facilities are modern, and there’s a great balance between academic rigour and social opportunities." Cons: "While the facilities are excellent, some of the older study spaces could benefit from more power outlets to accommodate students during peak exam seasons."

Worst- lots of false advertising for providing help. For example for entire first year i was in communication with CVA for netball umpiring and I have still not progressed, and have very few umpiring matches, even though I am already qualified Best- gorgeous campus
