Due to the universities small size it has an amazing community and is an extremely friendly environment. Student support is also incredible at Newman, really helpful and approachable staff that work really hard to make sure you are supported

Great had minimal issues with the course and tutors. The college is always trying to improve the equipment and keep everything working. The new building is close to transport links and close to get too

Firstly the university environment is so neat and quiet everytime to study. Great facilities has been provided by the university to make our studying easy and less hard and by also providing us with a support System called CASE to help us out in any difficulties in our studies

My experience so far has been great. The best parts are being able to come onto campus and access any resources I may need- everyone is happy to help. Support is always there when needed even from when I’m at home. I haven’t really found any bad aspects. All in all, this is a great place to study and would probably recommend to anyone who’s looking to start University. They have good food!

The location is super nice with a beach near by and all uni buildings close together. The facilities the uni has to offer are good library, ravelin sport Center. The sport clubs available are extremely enjoyable. The welfare and student support is good but could be advertised a bit more often so everyone knows what’s available and where etc

The best aspects of Nottingham Trent University so far has been the lectures and seminars. From the brilliant content to the kind lecturers, it has been a great experience. I have learnt so much since starting University in addition to the support provided by the University. The worst aspects would be living away from home due to being far away from my family.

It’s not a big university, so it’s easier to recognise students in the same course. If I have a question or problem, it’s not that difficult to ask them even though we’re not close friends. I know this university has a small number of international students. So if not speaking English fluently like native English speakers, it’s bit difficult to make friends with British people. In other words, it’s definitely easier to speak to or get along with international students because of having similar background, which is good thing though.

I found Oxford Brookes University a great opportunity to study interesting modules, having simultaneously the possibility to do interesting activities such as field trips in Oxford and London. I have free a lot of free time that allows me to do what I love the most, sport. I would prefer if Brookes University offered us more opportunities of Exchange Study Abroad and more field trips around UK.

Its a lovely campus feel, nice and small so you know everyone and everyone knows you. Feels very safe. However transport to and from campus isn't great and parking is difficult and expensive. Student support is okay but could be better, for example more funding to help people who need more support but who don't qualify for whatever reason for DSA support. Accommodation services could be more dynamic, and the students union are not great at catering to healthcare courses, for example we are here most of the year but they only run during term time which can feel quite isolating.
