Student support is one of the best aspects as there is constant help with whatever you need, such as easy access to contacting tutors or there is student support located in the student centre. A worse aspect is the location as Preston isn't exactly a very exciting area. However this shouldn't be seen as a fault of the uni.

A great aspect is tutors as they are really open to helping you with your assignments. However a weak point is course content as I feel that sometimes it lacks purpose

It’s located in such a perfect area and conveniently so close to the town centre so even when you don’t want to do that food shop at Iceland, it’s not that far away! I also love the gym facilities and as someone who’s just completed her third day at the gym ever, the machines, weights etc are so easy to locate. Love how the gym is a little walk away from my accommodation (takes me 5-10 mins to get there) so then it makes me work to get there and make the workout so much more rewarding - pain walking back though after leg day. Honestly I wouldn’t change anything about my university because every facility etc that I’ve used has blown me away more than the last - only negative thing was move in day because there’s no lift in my accommodation and I’m on the top floor so it was a bit difficult to bring everything up but other than that I love it here!

The media factory is absolutely stunning and mind blowing with the studios and what they have to offer in there! The tutors are like siblings to me I could talk to them about anything and even have a little joke with them if I wanted to, very easy to get in contact with them too which is nice. When I saw the student huh my jaw dropped because I didn’t understand how many more cameras they had to offer as at my college it was very limited and the staff there are so welcoming and kind and I always have little jokes with them truly great conversations happen in there.

Only thing I don’t particularly like is the constant issues I have with a part of the door where you put the key in your room lock keeps falling off (but I don’t mind that) and the radiator in my room never working when I want it to. Other than that, really well allocated with my main building and laundrettes 2 minute walk away from me which is lovely.
