A fantastic University!

Swansea University is one of the best universities that I do not regret going to. It has lot of facilities that makes a student feel at home away from home. It has lots of study spaces in which students can use in development of their studies and other departmental facilities/equipment. Swansea university has one of the best locations as it is one of the first universities to be located literally besides the beach which gives student the opportunity to feel the sands Beneath their fit and have fun while studying. Apart from the beach there is loads of clubs/societies in which students can join in apart from their academic experience. It helps them to make new friends meet new people and have fun while developing new hobbies and skills that are apart from the academic life. Swansea University has good exceptional teaching staff who by all means will go through extents and lengths to make sure the students are well equipped for life outside of university. One of my best experience in university is that I made lots of friends and was able to meet new people in my course and outside of my course through clubs/societies that I joined which was one of the greatest memories I will cherish. Hanging out at the beach literally 2 minutes walk from the uni , chilling at the university pub called Jcs and overall to be able to bond with students studying the same course which is a dream that one never expected to make up. I had lots of supports from the friends I made at uni and the uni itself as they have lot of facilities in place for the development and protection of your well-being while studying ranging from mental health issues financial issues , welfare issues e.t.c. I benefited from all of this and it was what made me feel at home away from Home . Another best experience is going to the popular wind street in Swansea which is just 10 mins away from the uni where it is full of pubs and clubs which I benefitted very well and I got to meet new people from that also. One of my worst experience is the weather can be so confusing and frustrating that you might not have any idea what had happened like for example it will be sunny at a moment then all of a sudden the weather becomes gloomy and rainy which is kind of annoying and a bit of a drag as you cannot expect what will happen at the next moment. Second worst experience is seagulls stealing my food which is very awful . If you buy a sandwich and you walk outside of Fulton house all of a sudden a seagull would very fast swoop the food from your hand which kind of sucks aw your food and snack has been taken away from you by seagulls. They are very dreadful and can get under your skin. Irrespective of the bad moments Swansea university remains a home away from home to me as I can enjoy the beach life while studying , have lots of fun and develop new hobbies in clubs and societies , and also experience its beauty as they have botanical gardens inside the campus. I enjoy Swansea University because of its vastness and very popular especially with international students making it a choice of University to go to.

The best aspects of my course is that there are lots of supports and help for your learning. The platform for learning called Canvas is used to enhance students learning. It is used to watch recorded lectures , provide lecture slides from live/online lectures, provides past exams past question and all sorts of other features. it helps to make learning a lot easier for students to develop their skills and prowess in preparation of their various career goals . Canvas is very helpful to me as my learning and acquiring of knowledge is supported by it and I am able to get lots of materials and further develop my knowledge on it. The worse part is that sometimes the materials can be overwhelming as if your not properly caught up on a week's topic you will be far behind . Lots of materials to consult which can stress students out but irrespective my course is one of the best decision have made as they are highly ranked and recognised by the educational body and world at large

What I liked most about Horton was that the building had 100% protection guarantee for all students and that It provided me the opportunity to develop life long friendships with the flat and other from different flat in which most of my best memories stem from that. The highest of student life is seen in living in campus accomodation which was the greatest thing I have experienced.
