Overall the university is a great place to study! They offer a wide range of sports and courses, they also always have new events running each week to get students involved. The university isn’t too big which is great when you first start and the staff are super friendly! The main area I would improve the university is their accommodation as they need upgrading so sometimes they come with faults and issues… the university are quick at resolving the issues but when you first arrive you expect everything to be perfect! Also they are quite box standard I think that they could paint the room and add more colour just to make them more welcoming especially for new students. The dinner hall is a good idea for first years as it takes away many costs when it comes to food however the food that the university offers is very hot or miss with all students.

My course is taught all in person which is great especially after everything with covid and everything being online! The lectures are very friendly and always want your best interest at heart, the workload isn’t too bad especially in first year but if there is anything you don’t understand you are able to book tutorials to meet your lecturers which is really helpful!

The staff is very friendly and it it en-suite which is a bonus! The en-suites are quite big and the rooms themselves are very spacious, however the halls do lack in colours and they don’t always feel the most inviting when you first arrive. The accommodations are away from the lecture halls themselves which is nice but everything is still nearby if needed.
