The history of Canterbury is very rich .I find its an interesting place.We (Msc Public health students) were given a health tour of the city, which made me feel as part of the city not a tourist just passing by which further translated to a homey feeling of my university and also made me feel part of the university. I do not know if other departments in the University do something like this,it should be encouraged. You feel like you have the backing of the University management inviting you to integrate which is a different feeling from student led activities.

The best aspects about our course are the approachable lecturers, am sure we have been bombarding them with questions and issues regarding our assignments which will be due soon. Would have preferred placements or internship opportunities to have a more practical understanding of Public Health especially as it is a very vast topic.This would assist narrowing out our area of interest and in fine tuning our skills.
