Tell us about your overall university experience so far.

My time studying at the City of Liverpool College was a very positive and worthwhile experience and i would highly recommend it to anyone considering studying in Liverpool! The teaching staff and the personal support which they offer to students is the main reason why i would recommend this course. I would especially like to comment on the course leader. Throughout the duration of my time at the City of Liverpool College he went above and beyond to help students in all aspects of university life.

Job Prospects

How does your uni make efforts to increase your employability (careers department, work placements, transferable skills)?

The college prepared me very well for finding a job. Throughout the duration of this course, one of the modules allows students to undergo a work placement. The college were very helpful and assisted me greatly in finding an organisation to complete my work placement.

Course and Lecturers

What do you like most and least about the way your course(s) are taught?

One of the major positive aspects of this course is that the majority of the lectures who teach on this course are extremely helpful and willing to guide and assist students with assignments. As the number of student who enroll on this course is fairly small compared to some other degrees, you build stronger relationships with both the teaching staff and fellow students.

How good are your university's facilities?

The City of Liverpool College facilities are relatively poor. However, this course is in partnership with Liverpool John Moores Universe and the facilities available through the university are brilliant.

Local life

Is your university in a good location in terms of distance to accommodation and local amenities?

Liverpool has everything which a student would want and look for in a city to live and study! The nightlife is second to none with some of the best student nights in the country. The shopping facilities within the city center are also great.

Student Support

How good is the support offered by the uni? Think both academic (tutors/feedback) and personal (counselling, etc).

Both personal and academic support provided by the City of Liverpool College is brilliant. The lectures are very supportive and make an effort to get to know each and every student. The feedback given back on work is extremely fast and helpful!
