Tell us about your overall university experience so far.

short but sweet. So far i have met a lot of lovely people and very supportive staff. As i have already said there furnishings need improving but over all i am happy with the experience.

Job Prospects

How does your uni make efforts to increase your employability (careers department, work placements, transferable skills)?

Well as i have only started im unsure how uni will help, but through my work they have informed me on what qualification i would need to progress.

Course and Lecturers

What do you like most and least about the way your course(s) are taught?

meeting new people.

What do you think of your Students' Union in terms of student representation and facilities?

i haven't heard much from them but i would like to know if the can support me in my job as well as my study.

Accommodation

What do you think about the safety, condition, location and cost of your accommodation?

Only a few months into uni and i have found that the class it self is good with good tutors but i find the lighting and furnishings uncomfortable. also the facility for a new building are lacking. Also if the wii fi could work better that would be great help to my learning, i tend to study late as its quite and a computer is then always available. And if the car park could be free for people who display there bag that would save me money that i could spend on resource for the course.

How good are your university's facilities?

i think that they need improvement. even though a new building in a good location, lighting is not ideal and furnishings are not comfortable.

Local life

Is your university in a good location in terms of distance to accommodation and local amenities?

Ipswich has access to all amenity that i need.

Societies and Sports

How would you rate the variety of societies/sports?

n/a after study's i go home to my two year old son.

Student Support

How good is the support offered by the uni? Think both academic (tutors/feedback) and personal (counselling, etc).

i have a personal tutor who will email me back with in the day, i have very pleased with the support that is given to me.
