Brilliant support and great teaching facilities

SO far everything is going ok

My course is a blended one where I attend the campus a few times a year and study remotely by distance learning the rest of the time. I deliberately chose Wrexham for this feature. From my initial enquiry to attending the course now, what has struck me is the way that Wrexham capitalises on its relatively small size by giving everyone a very personal service. Whether it's an admin or academic point, my issues are dealt with effectively. I don't have to wade through complex processes and because the communication is personal, the issue id dealt with in a targeted, professional way. The admin is superb and the academic staff could not be more helpful and knowledgeable. It's a really first class experience.

The modules are delivered by a campus day and then distance learning. I like the way that students are treated as being grown-up enough to work out their own study plans while being supported by personal and subject tutors. I have sought clarification and advice on many aspects of the course and all have been resolved promptly and effectively. I believe that Wrexham has made its small size a real benefit.

Wrexham is a pleasant city in a lovely part of the world - well served by public transport and other facilities. That said, I am a (very!) mature student and what suits me may not suit others!
