It has been great. Especially the teachers and staff are a to the ma to the Zing! There is real positive comradery among the students. Wish the cafeteria £ could be cheaper.

Tutor Support is really good. I have faced some hurdles in areas of support for my disabilities

Due to commitment to my studies and having to work for my living I am not able to join the student union

Birmingham is cool. Day life, night life its all very enjoyable with its techno colours brought along by people of all walks and all nations it makes an amazing place to live in. Given one knows the right places, living is quite affordable. The number of homeless people and beggars do surprise me!

Sorry to say my commitments in other areas of my life do not leave much time for clubs and societies.

The Best I like is the Music Tech. I have always dreamt of being able to record my own music as I sing and play several instruments. This not only gives the pleasure of listening to my own creation but provides me with an avenue to earn a living- and hopefully beyond. Also, it is a great satisfaction to be able to learn the know-how of all the tech stuff but to be able to put in audible form what goes in the head. This then for me to enjoy myself and share with others and on top make £ for me! There is no course that I actually don't like. I love each course for their intrinsic values and I know each one has a valuable place in my journey of evolving as to who I am going to be musically in the coming days.

The Course, first of all, is exciting, career-focused, interesting and goal oriented. The instructors are amazingly capable, enviably talented, easily approachable, unbelievably humble and forever helpful. The university makes its mark via Teachers' calibre. So, for me being at BCU (SCCB) for this short time I already feel so much more confident about my future. I am studying HND Popular Music Practice. I can envision myself as a future Teacher in various venues - schools, college, private tutor. Also, as a singer/song writer, session musician, and performer in many different arenas. I can also see myself being engaged in more than one area of music field - both as teacher and performer. Also, the music tech that I'm being taught will help me produce my own music and others as well. All these ring 'Chaching' for my future. This has been my dream for many years. I am thrilled to bits to have this privilege to study this course under BCU. As I continue my journey of learning and equipping myself for my dream career I feel more hopeful each day and I know with all the resources made available to me I know the buds of longing are slowly blooming in the garden of my Long Lost Dream!
