The best aspects are the campus, the staff and the atmosphere. I wouldn’t say that there’s worst aspects but the places where it could improve are the more student attentiveness and the student life experience outside is not that great because of the location, This is just my personal opinion. The taught course module is great but no practical experience gained except for the 2 weeks internship at the WHH. And no information about any placements as of now and that’s the downside.

University of Essex has given me a home away from home. The instructors are supportive and helpful and make learning interesting. My peers are from different parts of the world which is giving me a holistic learning experience. The only thing that could be improved is having more part time job opportunities available in the Colchester campus.

The course hours are perfectly timed. Lecturers are prompt in their response and feedback which helps me during assignments.

The amenities are good. The views are relaxing. The thing I like least is the fire alarm going off during odd hours.
