I wish my masters in international hospitality management course was a bit longer for more than a year which could have included more practical sessions and classes with an paid internship just like other Hospitality schools offer as hospitality being more robust and more practical in nature. I personally feel the more we worked as a group more than an individual and worked on certain projects together that could have enhanced our team building skills and as well as a brief exposure to handle difficult situations and projects when it comes to working in an actual hotel organisation. For example we needed more practical sessions and group projects on building menus, deciding layout and setups of hotels and restaurants, budget planning, business development, business planning , cost control, marketing and sales etc.
