The atmosphere within the university provides students with a safe and friendly environment to learn and study in, the lecturers on my course are far by the best i have ever for not only academic support within your studies but also for your own personal support. support within the university for mental health from your PAT's and mental wellbeing team within the university can provide support for both academic term time and within placement blocks. the free space to access computers and a vast number of books within the library make it a great place for students to study and access books and internet free of charge. the shuttle bus from the front of old sessions to polo farm support students in free parking for their lectures and makes it one less thing to worry about regarding the cost of living. if i had to improve one area of the university it would be accessing the admin and izone for support as sometimes it is difficult to gain support when needed.

within my first year of university a lot of the modules were online due to the impact of covid-19, within placement blocks a lot of students including myself found the support from lecturers and PAT's distant and we felt as if university teaching and placement were two separate things. however, going into second year many changes have been made for our course and the face to face learning has increased which has been much more beneficial to my learning, equally the contact between our lecturers, link lecturers and PAT's has increased massively and now i feel like i have a continuous stream of support unlike first year.
