RAU is small focussed university with a number of high calibre staff. The University needs to improve it's IT capabilities and IT support for students.

Most modules are top notch. Well considered and taught. Some module leaders need to work on their delivery.

Being at RAU is a great experience! I love that it is in a rural setting as this works perfectly for my Agriculture course, we are surrounded by farms making field trips easy a breeze. The staff compliment is absolutely friendly, polite, and eager to help, which makes a world of difference. The campus is a 15 minute walk to town and that's a plus as I do not own a vehicle. Coming from a different continent, however, I am yet to get used to the food!

My course is a taught Masters, we have blended learning whereby we do our pre and post lecture studies online and then the in-class seminars/lectures. Lecturers are available on campus when you need them, and we are given adequate notification of their schedules.

I love that the University is small so all the amenities are easily accessible to students living in the halls of residence. As I am a catered student, my room is well equipped with an en-suite, comfortable bed, work station, heater, kettle, and a good speed WIFI. It would be great though, to have a microwave available in the residence for students on catered accommodation.
