it’s such a lovely, fun filled area where both the campuses each have different things going on, with good choices of food and drink! the staff are so lovely and helpful. an improvement that could be made is more opportunities for guidance within academic word

the course is taught face to face, with lectures being recorded if students miss it and this is useful to look back on sessions for assignments and work. there is hours of placement during the course which gets you geared up with skills!

i love the halls at UEL! it’s a great location, cozy area and all staff are lovely, you feel very safe! i think the value for money is okay, the rooms could be bigger

The University of East London is an exciting place to study, with fantastic members of staff, plenty of facilities across all campuses, and plenty of opportunities for student engagement, including opportunities for work and Course Representative roles for the students. Students are well looked after by the staff, as well as the security staff on campus to provide directions and solve problems that may arise outdoors. The main improvement that must be addressed is the lack of opportunity for social activities at the Stratford campus - all activities, events and sports clubs take place at Docklands Campus, which is very expensive and time consuming to travel to from Stratford. Also, on a small number of occasions, I have phoned the University in relation to an important query, and have been greeted by some staff members who have appeared rude and unhelpful. The majority of those who answer the phone are helpful and friendly, whereas some are not.

The course I am studying is fantastic - the course content is very well delivered and in-depth, and is presented by lecturers who are very knowledgeable and helpful. I feel like, sometimes, we could have a few more lectures/sections throughout the year, such as one per week during placement to help students complete tasks away from the busy school setting.
