Very nice and friendly environment. Lots of activities. To improve, parking spaces and communal areas when it is raining.

It should be optional attending in person if there is a zoom alternative, specially for the ones who commute.

The university is great however the town of Southend is a little bit rough. Parking in Southend is also very expensive and there is no student parking facilities. The gateway building has recently had a new skills lab to replace the old one which is very nice.

The new skills lab for oral health students is very good. The lecture content is very heavy going for some subjects, with a lot crammed in, whilst others are brief. Some lectures are taught via zoom from the other campus but we are still expected to attend which is frustrating for those that travel long distance. I am still on my first placement so I don't know what they are all like but I have been very happy with my work placement.
