Lots of additional support for students with anxiety or learning difficulties. The campus I'm on, Park, is very peaceful and tranquil. I sit by the pond in the summer and watch the ducks at lunch. It doesn't feel like you're on the edge of a spa town at all.

My course has so far had a module every term with 3 design projects. The first year wasn't so bad and i could keep up, but as the work load and detail needed as increased it's harder to keep up. You also have a 7hr live brief over the course of the day so it's technically 4. I think it should be 2 projects and a live brief so you have the time to put in more detail and don't feel under as much pressure. Lecturer A is heart for the essay modules in my second year and I've found this module to be the easiest so far. I like that we build a portfolio and have a module in 2md year on making a cv, cover letter and portfolio, and a unit which let's you free rein to make your own brief with some guidelines. Never feel nervous to email your lecturers as they're happy to help. You also get a 1 hour lesson a week on using the Adobe software so you're not left to struggle on your own, and Tim is more than happy to accommodate any questions or particular areas you want to cover.

I don’t feel like I have had the chance to fully engage with student life as covid impacted the social side of it all, especially in my first year. I want aware of the student union until my final year, which was disappointing as making friends was difficult. However there were many other opportunities, like socials and societies, which I personally didn’t engage with but would definitely have improved my experience if I had the chance in my first year

The interior design course has been such a positive experience. The course structure is flexible enough for you to find and explore your own interests within the industry, with a placement built into one of its modules. The lecturers are friendly and supportive, and create an enjoyable learning environment. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

The shared accommodation was regularly monitored to keep it a clean environment. I stayed in the shared bathroom halls and the bedrooms were spacious, however the kitchen was small and offered no space to relax and socialise with the rest of the hall.
