Middlesex University has been a nice place to pursue my career thanks to the passion that my peers and teachers have for the course itself. The university support in equipment is more than excellent, however, I would suggest if the university could help students fundraising their films with a realistic budget.

The best bits about my course are the topics we are taught, they are relevant and open intellectual conversations. However, sometimes, specially during first year, it felt like to topics were really stretched out that, if they were planned better, they could be covered within weeks rather than months.

The best about uni's halls is its proximity to uni itself and a space to meet people. The thing I enjoyed the least was the way students take care of a shared space: no respect, no common sense and no responsibility taken for any of their actions. I know this is not directly related to the accommodation itself but it will be good if the halls could provided some measurements to avoid this.

The campus is located just outside of Central London. This is a great benefit as there are quiet, green spaces around campus and a slower paced area, however just 20 minutes away is Central London, with everything you could need. Student support is easily accessible and cover all areas of student need from finances to support with finding internships or jobs post graduation.

Middlesex University has so many valuable facilities to assist me in my studies on the course Fashion Communication and Styling. From industry standard photography studios and the latest Canon cameras, to free printing in the 24/7 library. The course is taught on campus, with small class sizes, meaning frequent availability for these facilities and 1-2-1 personal feedback with your tutors.

Conveniently located opposite the university means that you can start your journey to campus minutes before lesson starts! With cleaners around daily; the communal spaces are always clean. Communal spaces include both a kitchen and separate living room.
