Studying at NTU has been one of the best choices ive made. I've found my course to be incredibly informative, the tutors are friendly and eager to help in any way they can, and the opportunities that my course have offered me have really helped me feel optimistic towards the future. The only real issues about studying at NTU is its placement, especially the part of campus that I study at, Its not a very nice area of the city and often travelling to class is quite scary, this isn't really an NTU issue though, and I feel very safe and comfortable in the actual university building so really I don't have anything to complain about directly relating to the university. I would highly recommend people to study here, I have felt so supported in my studies and excited to learn more about my subject.

I usually attend in-person classes, of which i have seen my personal work improve tremendously over my years of study. The tutors guide you on how to improve, show you valuable resources and are usually able to be contacted within short periods of time. My only complaint with the course is we have been asking for new chairs in one of the rooms for a long time now, a lot of them are broken or just incredibly uncomfortable to sit in for 3 hour lessons. That is only in two classrooms though, so it's not that big of a complaint and does not detract from the rest of my experience at NTU.

I think NTU has a really nice campus, and if you intend to stay on it or in the small area around it you should be fine, there are a lot of nice restaurants and such in the surrounding area with only a short walk to the Victoria center. However I have to admit i do not feel safe walking around anywhere else other than main campus in Nottingham, there is a very hostile attitude to some people that I've met, and as I commute into the city for class, the walk from my uni to the bus station is sometimes very scary especially when it is dark out. I think this is important to know when looking to study in Nottingham, it can be a nice city sometimes with plenty of places to go out and eat, but there are some areas that are a bit hostile. Aside from this, I would also say that my experience with student accommodation in Nottingham was quite pricey, but I only stayed in one accommodation for the first year of uni so I can't say if this is a problem elsewhere. Nottingham is also quite diverse, there are a lot of small businesses around the Hockley area which is one of the nicer areas to visit, I feel it has a very pleasant and inclusive atmosphere so if you were looking for some cool shops to visit definitely check out that area! With all this being said, I think the University's courses, support and campus amenities more than make up for the cities downfalls, and I truly do enjoy life at NTU!

My tutors and lecturers are incredibly supportive, and we have access to useful technology that challenges me. However, I do sometimes get a little overwhelmed by it all.

Most time is spent in seminars with tutors for guidance, but sometimes there is some struggle with some of the softwares sometimes

My rent is very cheap and I would say the facilities are worth what I pay, the service staff are very helpful and my room is comfortable enough.
