Overall a good uni with good facilities, catering to all age groups and abilities. Staff are helpful and approachable. A friendly environment. A wide range of students so you're bound to find someone you like!

A good sized library with a wide range of books. You can also put a request in for any they don't have. On-line access to lots of journals and ebooks. Internet access and plenty of computers and printers etc. available. There are also on-site shops, printing service for posters etc and a doctor.

Really good student support via the library. You can arrange a one-to-one with them as well as lots of help sessions to attend if you need to. The lecturers are generally very helpful and will do all they can for you.

Plenty to do round and about and public transport available to larger cities such as Chester, Liverpool and Manchester. There is always a famous visiting act (comedians, music, plays etc) at the uni.

There's probably a society available for most interests.

The courses are well run and cover a wide range of up-to-date and relevant modules. Nearly all of the lecturers are really good.

A lot of effort is put in to make sure you're well set up to start applying for jobs and working, either employed or self-employed.

I am very pleased with the tutors support. Tutors are extremely helpful. Modules are made clear and anything that is not understood, the tutors are more than happy to go over it! ..... Very happy!
