I absolutely loved it. As a mature student returning to education, I found settling back into acaedemic work challenging but I was supported so much by all my tutors that helped.

Fantastic facilities. Large arena, science lab and ample scientific technologies.

I absolutely love the place and all it stands for. If I had my way, I would never leave! As a mature student, returning to education after an office based career, it has changed my life very much for the better. I have more confidence in myself and my own abilities than I have ever had. The course was not easy and I have never worked so hard on so many things at once, but all the hard work leads to huge satisfaction upon completion of it. A degree course is not for the faint hearted - you get out what you put in! I have nothing to compare Bishop Burton College with, I just know that I loved it and can’t wait to start my third year.

The facilities at Bishop Burton are fabulous. Everything I have needed has been available or alternatives found. The surroundings are beautiful, there are good places to eat, superb transport facilities at reasonable prices and a stacked library. The tutors are committed to providing their students with all they need to succeed.

Faultless. Everything is made available- if you need and ask for help, it is given, either by tutors or college counselling staff. All the staff I encountered just wanted to help students do the best they possibly could.

The best thing about how the course was taught was that the tutors were really interested and enthusiastic about their subjects. They also made time to go over the same information again and again if there was something I didn’t understand first time around.. There was always time to arrange a personal tutorial too. Creativity was always encouraged and applauded where necessary. There was nothing I didn’t like about the way the course was taught - I just felt lucky to be a part of it.

My degree course has been career focussed all the way through, whatever career choice is finally chosen. The Careers department is also available to give any extra advice.
