This programme provides a comprehensive understanding of the scientific study of wildlife, the diversity of living organisms and their habitats, and the practical steps that can be taken for effective conservation. It provides an opportunity for you to explore the theory and practice related to wildlife conservation. You will examine ecological principles which seek to explain how populations interact with each other and the physical environment and integrate understanding of the natural, socio-cultural, economic and political issues which promote the need for wildlife management.
