The UWS TV, Radio & Podcast Production degree course prepares students for success in the broadcast industry by teaching them how to create, produce, and understand television, radio, podcasting, and other modern digital media content. Students work in UWS’s radio, podcast, and television studios, utilizing the latest broadcasting facilities and digital sound and video editing suites. The course features excellent teaching staff, professional guest lectures, and work-related opportunities. Additionally, students benefit from field visits to major national and international media organizations, including the BBC and Glasgow’s Film City. Opportunities to broadcast on the campus radio station and gain hands-on practical experience working in live media are integral parts of the programme.
