We don’t just study TV programmes, we make them. On this practical, broad-ranging and industry-focused course, you’ll be hands-on with cameras, editing equipment, lighting, and sound kit from the start. You’ll learn about everything from developing ideas for scripted and unscripted TV, through to writing and producing finished programmes. You’ll design drama sets, film and livestream sports events, and produce multi-camera TV shows in our virtual production studio. Teaching you those all-important job-hunting skills like CV writing and networking is a key part of the course, too.Television Production graduates are making waves across the entire TV landscape, contributing their talents to acclaimed productions on BBC, ITV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple TV and beyond. From high-end TV dramas like The Crown, Doctor Who, and Sex Education, factual TV hits such as The Traitors, Fresh Cops and Made in Chelsea, through to multi-cam studio shows like the Eurovision Song Contest and Strictly Come Dancing, our graduates are shaping the entertainment landscape. They play pivotal roles, ranging from the creative vision of writers, producers and directors to the meticulous work of researchers and production management staff, the technical mastery of sound and camera experts, and the live production expertise of outside broadcast and livestreaming engineers.
