You will have opportunities to develop your professional knowledge of English language teaching within a global context, with particular emphasis on the links between language theory, practice, and research. You will also gain the skills and confidence to teach English as a second language through observations, lesson planning, and micro-teaching.A key part of this course is your dissertation, where you will build up your research skills in order to apply them to a TESOL-related issue. You will explore and examine these educational issues to develop new ways of thinking and understanding, to inform your future career.
