Salford has a sophisticated range of professionally accredited computing degree courses taught in cutting-edge, specialised computing suites.
Many of our courses give you the option of studying a foundation year or completing an industry placement year, so you can graduate with the experience you’ll need to start your career in the industry.
As a computing student, you will experience a modern learning environment, studying in our specialist computing suites, including a networking laboratory, and dedicated final year project laboratory. You can also use Cisco-enabled facilities with the option to gain Cisco Certified Network Associate status.
You will also have the opportunity to take part in industry events such as Hackcamp. The three-week long challenge brings together second year students from across our computing courses to meet an industry-set brief.
All our computing courses are accredited by the British Computing Society, the Chartered Institute for I.T, so you’ll be educated to the highest industry standards. Our degree syllabus is informed by a strong network in the Manchester tech sector and our world-class computing research, so the modules you study will have real-world relevance.
