What is Sports Performance Analysis?

Develop yourself while studying scientific and applied modules, resulting in ISPAS accreditation upon completion. This programme offers a student-centred, supportive environment to undertake your Master’s level study.

You’ll learn in brand new, purpose built sporting facilities, including an international-standard sports arena and 3G pitches. As a community, we pride ourselves on high-quality, research-led and industry informed teaching and learning.

You’ll be taught by passionate, engaging, industry-connected and accredited staff. This programme will offer opportunities for transformational work placements in diverse environments, including professional and youth sport.

Study style

The practical nature of many disciplines within this subject area lend themselves to innovative practical assessment methods, allowing meaningful assessment of discipline based competencies. Through a wide variety of delivery and assessment modes, this course offers opportunity for life-long learning, encouraging enhancement of employability, using industry-relevant assessment practice.

Assessment on the course is designed to inspire and challenge students, promoting creativity and growing confidence. You’ll be assessed practical-based exams, presentations, scientific report writing and a research proposal leading to an independent project.

2:1 classification in a sport-related degree. Those who hold a sport-related degree classification of either 2:2 (or below) or a non-sport-related degree will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may be required to submit a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate relevant experience/knowledge.
