Sports Coaching Science (with Placement Year)

St Mary's University, Twickenham

At St Mary's University the best aspects of uni life are the sports facilities they provide as well as the learning areas a study zones for students to complete work. Some of the less positive aspects of this uni would be the fact that the admin staff in areas such as registry are slightly lacking in communication skills towards students making it hard too resolve problems which may come up.

It is a great place to study as there is lots of great facilities which can be used however there could be better support for certain things

I have had nothing but great experiences at my University, The student support, lecturers and all staff are amazing. I have been given so much advice, help and praise from them. There are fantastic opportunities for work and progression. the social aspect is outstanding, i just wish i had more opportunities to attend (i am a single mother, so restricted ). My daughter is 13 and already wants to study at St. Mary's when she is older. The courses are fantastic and cater for so many students. Being a mature student I thought i would find it hard to fit in, but it has been the opposite, everyone is welcoming and friendly. I have nothing but positive's to say about my experiences.

St Mary’s feels very accommodating to mature students and students travelling to uni. Lectures so far have been very informative and engaging. Lecturers have been approachable and positive. The parking is limited. I would like to see the uni offer advice on best places/areas to park for students travelling to make life easier.

It’s a fantastic place to study and the lectures are really good and insightful. They are very understanding and useful regarding personal situations. Wish there was better parking on sight.
