Interested in how nutritional advice can be used to optimise sport performance? Aspire to help individuals who exercise for recreational purposes to lose weight? Or make your mark by tackling health challenges such as obesity, heart disease and diabetes by supporting individuals with optimal dietary habits?
Our Sport, Exercise and Nutrition BSc (Hons) course will provide a practical, 'real-world', multi and inter-disciplinary emphasis on the latest developments in sport, exercise and health nutrition. You will learn about the inter-play between psychology, physiology and nutrition to support individuals to perform at their best whether their goal is to excel in sport, or their aim is to exercise for health benefits.

With access to a sports laboratory and testing equipment in our specialist sport and teaching facility and a bespoke nutrition kitchen, this is a course that combines practical hands-on training with the latest contemporary research in the field of sport and exercise nutrition to set you up for a career in this area.
The scientific content of the curriculum is aligned with the scientific knowledge requirements and competencies detailed in the Sport and Exercise Nutrition Register (SENr) and during your studies youll be encouraged to critically evaluate existing theory and practice as well as carry out your own independent research.
