Overall, my university experience has been very positive. One of the best aspects is the supportive and inclusive learning environment. Lecturers are approachable, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about students’ progress, which makes a big difference to both confidence and motivation. Teaching is engaging, and there are plenty of academic resources available to help students succeed. The university also offers a great sense of community. There are many opportunities to get involved in societies, events, and extracurricular activities, which makes it easy to meet new people and develop skills beyond the classroom. The campus facilities are incredible and well maintained, providing a comfortable and inspiring place to study. While no institution is perfect, any areas for improvement tend to be relatively small, such as continuing to expand study spaces and support services as demand grows. Overall, the university actively listens to student feedback and is committed to improving the student experience, which makes it a great place to study and grow both academically and personally.

Great support from student services, have lots of options of where to go when I am struggling. The support from lecturers is also great. The transition to uni was tough but with the support of uni services I felt welcome and comfortable. Worst aspect is feeling lonely due to being a commuter, however there were lots of opportunities in the first week to engage with others in my classes and find other people also commuting as well as friends that live on campus. The sports and health complex is an amazing facility that we get the opportunity to use but in sports practical lessons we do not have access to their equipment just the space. The university sports equipment we do have access to seems old and worn.
