Software Engineering (With Foundation Year)

I really like it here. The lecturers are fantastic, the library is really good, and I live at home which makes the university experience cheaper and better for me.

In all honesty, this University is a very good university, it is one of the younger universities which may not be appealing to everyone, but the facilities are amazing!!!! compared to a lot of older and higher ranked Universities (and trust me, I can count the number of Universities I have NOT visited in England). The lecturers are great and always willing to help, at least from my experience and that of friends on other courses, you get 24 hours/7 days access to an amazing library. It is literally less than 30 minutes to London, which gives you great opportunities for Internships and work experience. The University is quite young which explains why the entry requirements on most courses are not "Oxbridge high", therefore you can find a lot of students who aren't the most hardworking and aren't ready to take advantage of the great opportunities the University offers. I have however met some extremely clever students that I am sure will go on to be notable alumni's of the University. At the end of the day, like any other University, I think some courses are taught better than others, their computing, media, journalism, biomedical sciences and a lot more are extremely popular because they are some of the best courses offered by the University. Long Story short, the Universe does not give back what you did not put in....If you give 100% wherever you are, you will definitely receive a similar gesture from the Universe. Absolutely no regrets in choosing this University!
