University of Nottingham

The campus at the University of Nottingham is a beautiful place to be able to complete my studies. It has a welcoming and homely feeling. Facilities such as the David Ross Sports Centre and both libraries make it easy for me to complete extra activities such as netball and going to the gym, along with great places to study. Improvements involving the student union could be made, as I found it difficult to find out information about this. However, I couldn’t fault any other aspect of the University.

The campus is beautiful. Its nice to be so close to the city (20 minute tram ride) yet surrounded by greenery. The buildings are also well designed, particularly Monica Partridge and George Green. All the buildings on University Park campus are within walking distance which makes a day on campus easy. The libraries have a range of study spaces and I enjoy doing my work in there both with friends and individually. I do feel there could be more student support offered, and it is very much you have to reach out to them rather than services being accessible to you, but this is something I can see they are actively working on. Also the campus is on a hill so you will definitely get those steps in.

The campus is lovely, the lake is amazing to walk around in summer. However, the strikes have disrupted the uni experience massively

I think the best part would be the campus; but the look and feel of it as well as the facilities. I also think the student life generally is very balanced- you have to put the work in but there’s also a lot of time to have fun. The worst part would probably be the student support service, I do not feel like the university have the done the best job when myself or my friends have looked for support or advice with tricky situations.

Great university to study in . Campus is good and the facilities are great the university always has support for student and teaching has good level of knowledge. Nottingham has good night life for student and would recommend the university and city to study there
