These will be provided by lecturers and supported by placement supervisors. Assessment is always done by professional lecturers who teach on the programme.On successful completion, you will be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of the basic concepts, values and principles of social and community work, and the skills to perform effectively in several different settings in the health and social care sector. You will be able to communicate accurately and appropriately, and you will have the behaviours and qualities needed for employment that require some degree of personal responsibility.You will have developed a range of transferable skills to ensure effective teamwork, independent initiatives, organisational competence and problem-solving strategies.
